Hiking Trails
Traverse 5 km of forested terrain, never more than a few steps from the shoreline. At low tide you can extend your exploration to our five private wild islands.
Wild Islands
Discover our five, private wild islands either by foot at low tide or by paddle. Hike, swim, picnic, nap in a hammock and enjoy the views.
Also visit the nearby 100 Wild Islands of the Eastern Shore.
Paddling
Hop in a kayak, canoe or paddle board and explore nearby islands or follow the coastline along Jeddore Harbour.
(Boat rentals are for overnight guests.)
Swimming & Snorkeling
Let the clear protected waters of our cove entice you in for a swim. You are encouraged to bring your own snorkeling gear to explore the underwater world, viewing many varieties of sea plants and fish.
Campfires
Join your hosts and other guests around the fire, under the night sky. Instruments and songs encouraged!
Explore the Herb Garden
Kick off your shoes and feel the soft grass between your toes while strolling among aromatic and medicinal plants in the herb garden. Blue Forest is home to over 100 medicinal plants. Check out our herbal learning resources and perhaps have a chat with our resident herbalist. Check out our events page for herbal medicine workshops.

Outdoor Kitchen
A fully equipped communal kitchen has everything you need to prepare simple meals, packed lunches for your hike or gourmet feasts; perhaps with a taste of local seafood or produce fresh from our garden veggie stand.
Outdoor Shower
You might be sad to go back to your bathroom after experiencing an open air, yet private shower with a view of the ocean.
Indoor Gathering Space
A unique feature of the property is the Bentwood Lodge, the design was inspired by the traditional first nations longhouse and a canoe. Enjoy the architecture while relaxing with a book, yoga, playing cards or during an evening concert.
Composting Toilets
The paths to the toilets are paved with moss and wild flowers.
